Computers, the greatest invention of the 20th century, have greatly changed our life and (2.1) today we cannot do without them. Many people think computers are good but (2.1) others do not agree. Let us consider what the advantages and disadvantages of computers are. (1.1)

To begin with (2.2), computers are more convenient than books. It is faster and easier to surf the Net, which (2.1) is full of information, than to go to the library. You can also keep a lot of information in your computer and (2.1) find it quickly when you need it. (1.2)

Another good thing (2.2) about computers is that using e-mail you can keep in touch with people all over the world. You can improve your language skills by exchanging e-mails with students from English-speaking countries or just chatting on the Internet. (1.2)

What is more (2.2), students do better work using a computer as an additional information and learning resource. Besides (2.2), their written work looks neat and tidy because (2.1) it is easy to correct all the mistakes with the help of special computer programs. (1.2)

On the other hand (2.2), computers have some disadvantages. Although (2.1) computers provide good entertainment, your eyes may hurt or your back may give you pain if (2.1) you spend much time in front of a computer. Besides (2.2), playing computer games is passive entertainment. It keeps you away from active life and you do not have enough exercise. Moreover (2.2), a lot of people get addicted to modern computer games which (2.1) can cause serious problems. (1.3)

In conclusion (2.2), I can say that although (2.1) computers have some disadvantages, they are very useful in different spheres of life. They have already changed our life for the better. So why not make them work to our advantage in the future? (1.4)

(5) Соблюдаются орфографические правила, все слова правильно написаны в соответствии с нормами английского языка.
